Artist Statement: This is the final piece to a 8 poster series revolving around my growth alongside feminism. I began upset and angry at the world and moved through several feminist concepts such as ‘intersectionality.’ At the end of my journey, I remember that love is the seed of social justice. In order to love myself and my people, I must transcend narratives of oppression and rewrite them for myself. If intergenerational trauma is real, then so is intergenerational wisdom. Long live us, for we are inscribed with survival.
